Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 6 (IANS): Technopark incubates for regional and international markets have got a leg-up with the inking of a pact that will enable them find new markets in Asia-Pacific and Oceanic countries.
The agreement was signed by K.C Chandrashekharan Nair, Technopark CFO and Registrar of Technopark Technology Business Incubator (TTBI) during the 19th Asia Association for Business Incubation (AABI) General Assembly at Shanghai earlier this month.
TTBI is supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).
"Most of the incubate companies face problems in finding new markets for selling their products. By signing this agreement they will get an opportunity to start offices in Asia-Pacific and Oceanic countries," said Nair.
All the budding companies in Kerala could get space for operations and marketing in all those countries.
TTBI had earlier inked an agreement with Invest in Bavaria business promotion agency. Four companies from Technopark TBI are going to start their operations in Bavaria.
It is also planning to sign agreements with companies in Brussels for IT growth.
