Kolkata, Nov 8 (IANS): Millie Saroha took her overnight lead of four shots all the way to the finish line to emerge triumphant at the Usha West Bengal Ladies and Junior Girls Amateur Golf Championship which concluded at the Tollygunge Golf Course greens here Friday.

Currently placed third on the Indian Golf Union (IGU) Amateur Ladies Tour Order of Merit list, Millie returned a card of three over 73 at the end of the third and final day to end up with a final score of 219, ahead of second placed Ridhima Dilawari, who finished with 223.

Millie’s was also the best round of the day following a similar performance on Day 2 when she carded a 71 (one over). Ridhima also had a similar return but it was not enough to upstage Millie’s performance over three days. The pair also finished in the same order in the combine Category A-B section.

Gauri Monga, a former winner of the Ladies Tour, finished third with a score of 224 after registering a final day score of four over 74.

Amrita Anand (229) and Dolma Rawat (241) were top two in Category B while Ananya Barthakur (252) topped Category C followed by Khushi Nehra (255) in second place.
