Delhi minor boy dies of burn injuries

New Delhi, Nov 9 (IANS): An eight-year-old boy succumbed to his burn injuries while recuperating in a hospital here Saturday morning, police said.

Bhupendra along with his father Rohit, mother Pushpa and younger brother Pushpendra were severely injured following a fire in their east Delhi's Nand Nagri area house Friday evening. They were admitted to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital.

Police said Bhupendra, who received 70 percent burns, died Saturday morning. The fire was attributed to leakage from a gas cylinder.

"Other family members are still in hospital. There are stable," said an officer.
