Clear Monday in Delhi, similar Tuesday expected


New Delhi, Nov 11 (IANS): A nippy morning was followed by a clear sunny day in Delhi Monday. The day's maximum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 26.6 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast a clear Tuesday with shallow fog in the morning.

"The skies will remain mainly clear Tuesday with mist and shallow fog in the morning," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The minimum temperature settled two notches below average at 12.2 degrees Celsius while the day's humidity wavered between a high and low of 86 and 42 percent, respectively.

Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded three notches below the season's average at 26 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 12 degrees Celsius.
