Mangalore, Apr 4: "Kalagangotri", the Yakshagana Research Centre, Someshwar-Ucchila has organized a workshop on yakshagana on Saturday April 8 afternoon at Women's government college at Balmata here.
This was announced in a press conference by Prof Amrit Someshwar, the convener of the workshop on Tuesday April 4 morning.
The experts, yakshagana artistes will participate in the workshop and will present their views about the downhill growth of yakshagana.
Noted scholar Serahe Sitaram Bhat will present a detailed paper at the workshop. D S Shridhar, Dr M Prabhakar Joshi and Sunnambala Vishweshwar Bhat will express their views regarding the issues that will be raised by S Sitaram Bhat.
Kalagangotri director K Sadashiv and secretary Suresh Rao Kotekar were also present at the press conference.
