Now, buy Rohit Bal designed lighter

New Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS): Ace designer Rohit Bal has collaborated with US-based lifestyle brand Zippo once again to design a limited edition windproof lighter. And this time it will be available for sale at select retail stores from the first week of December.

Earlier, when Bal had designed lighters for the brand, they were not for sale.

Known for experimenting with his designs on various platforms, Bal has created the Zippo Windproof lighter collection with his trademark lotus design.

"I aimed to provide the Indian market with a unique accessory, but one that has mixed influences of both America and India. I have always believed in the spirit of Zippo and I thoroughly enjoyed designing a customised Zippo lighter," the designer said in a statement.

The collection reflects Zippo’s youthful and energetic values whilst combining them with Rohit Bal’s chic and fashionable style to create the ultimate lifetime fashion accessory, feels David B. Warfel, director, global marketing, Zippo Manufacturing Company.

“Rohit is an esteemed fashion designer, not only in India but internationally. His designs are unique, which makes him a perfect fit to collaborate with Zippo as he personifies the energy and vibrancy of the brand,” said Warfel.

The lighter will be available at a price of Rs.3,999 at authorized Zippo retail outlets.
