Mangalore, Apr 5: The strike by SBI staff has now entered the third day and the plight of the customers is increasing with every passing day.  The strike for an indefinite period at the very beginning of the month has caused immense problems for the customers. 

On the second day of the strike on Tuesday April 4, the SBI staff staged silent protest.  Their tied a black ribbon on their mouths and protested in front of the State Bank main branch.  The officials as well as the employees are of the opinion that they would not back track from their decision till their demands are met.

None of the SBI branches are functioning owing to the strike.  Even the ATMs have been shut down doubling the problems of the customers.
