Three terrorists killed in Pakistan


Islamabad, Nov 13 (IANS): At least three terrorists and one security personnel were killed Wednesday during a search operation in Pakistan's Karachi city, a media report said.

A shootout took place during an operation carried out by the Pakistan Rangers, a paramilitary force, in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Boner area, Geo News quoted a Rangers' spokesman as saying.

The terrorists, who belonged to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), were plotting to carry out attacks during Muharram, said the spokesman.

A large number of arms were also recovered.
