Mangalore, Apr 6: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has organized a discussion to discuss and share views on various issues on Saturday April 8 evening at 4.30 pm.

The present team of Konkani Sahitya Academy led by Eric Ozario completed one year on March 22.  In the last year the academy has organized numerous programmes, workshops.  One of the main achievements of the academy has been the success it attained in introducing Konkani as optional subject in the schools.  The project will be introduced in the coming scholastic year.

The present discussion has been called to make the public aware about the progress attained in this project and other projects of the academy.  Plans and projects which will be taken up in the coming year too will be discussed in detail.

The discussion will be presided over by Fr Denis D'Sa, director of Sandesha.

The president, registrar and members of the academy have invited people to join in the discussion in a big number.
