Mangalore, Apr 7: It is the beginning of new era of the Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative Ltd (CAMPCO).

One of them surely is the global market which has become out own market.  CAMPCO, the prestigious marketing and processing cooperative of betel nut growers entered the online global market process on Thursday April 6. 

Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa inaugurated online marketing of CAMPCO at a function held here on Thursday. 

The interested could do betel nut purchase, place their demand for betel nuts or pay their bills through online marketing.  The business could be done within a few minutes even from Delhi, Kolkatta, Mumbai or any other cities.

"Supana", a new beverage prepared from betel nuts too was released to the market on the occasion.

Horticulture minister Nagaraj Shetty, medical education and animal husbandry minister Dr V S Acharya, CAMPCO founder president Varanashi Subraya Bhat were present on the occasion.

CAMPCO president S R Rangamurthy, managing director T Madhusudhan Rao, vice president Srikrishna Bhat, journalist Manohar Prasad and others too were present on the occasion.
