Will accept poll result: Maldives candidate

Male, Nov 16 (IANS): Abdulla Yamin, a presidential candidate in the Maldives, Saturday said he will accept the result "no matter what the outcome".

Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) presidential candidate Abdulla Yamin Saturday said he was happy with the polling in the presidential runoff so far, reported haveeru online.

Yamin, who is pitted against opposition leader and former president Mohamed Nasheed, said he was satisfied with the arrangements made by the elections commission.

“I will accept the result no matter what the outcome,” Yamin was quoted as saying.
