Voting ends in Maldives presidential run-off


Male, Nov 16 (IANS): Voting closed at polling stations across the Maldives in the presidential run-off Saturday, a media report said.

Those who were already in the queue before the the cutoff time will be allowed to cast their votes, Haveeru online reported.

Counting will start 30 minutes after the last vote is cast. Preliminary results are expected around midnight (1900 GMT) and the final results Sunday morning.
