BJP moves EC against Rahul's 'party of thieves' comments

New Delhi, Nov 16 (PTI): The BJP today petitioned the Election Commission seeking action against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for allegedly dubbing it as a "party of thieves" in his poll rally in Kharsiya in Chhattisgarh.

In its complaint, the party termed Gandhi as a "habitual offender" and termed the Congress as a "history-sheeter" party in violating the model code of conduct and laws of the land.

The complaint seeks stern action against Gandhi in the wake of the poll body expressing displeasure over his certain remarks against the BJP and his linking the Muzaffarnagar riot victims to Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and asking him to be more circumspect in future.

"We have sought stern action against Rahul Gandhi as he has become a habitual offender like his party which is a history-sheeter in violating the law," said BJP Vice President Muktar Abbas Naqvi.

He claimed the use of the word "chor" (thief) to describe a party and its leaders is a "clear cut violation of the model code of conduct" and demanded stern action from the poll watchdog.

Naqvi said a delegation of BJP leaders will also meet the Chief Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh and demand action besides presenting another memorandum to him.

Gandhi had earlier today dubbed the BJP as a "party of thieves" and accused it of "looting natural resources" of Chhattisgarh.

"I want one thing from the son of Nandkumar Patel.... I want not one but around 500 Nand Kuma Patels. I will not bring them from Delhi, I want them from the crowd here who can stand up and kick out BJP from here... these thieves from here," Gandhi had said at a poll rally in Kharsiya, the home constituency of slain state unit Congress chief Nand Kumar Patel, ahead of the second phase of polling on Tuesday.

I remember the story i was taught in school days... where two people fight over something, and the third gets it.

Likewise.... AAP will wipe these out of politics. People want educated, dedicated people to rule the country.

We dont need another Hitler to impose his personal ideology.... or Ali Baba to loot the country.

Spread the word.... AAP ko vot do.

The person who is writing Rahul baba's speech is taking full advantage of him , as he knows whatever is given to Rahul he will speak it without applying his brain.

Rahul must first learn the meaning of Chor and Lootere from Prof Vadra. Rahul should not come into politics , it is not the field which is suited for him.

Anyhow after 2014 election it will automatically left by him.

Congratulations Mr.Rahul Gandhi! You have proved to be a suitable candidate for the PM chair. One comment of yours is strong enough for the opposition which is not digestible whereas the Congress party has digested hundreds of comments made by the opposition and their leader in public.

Disgusting. So cheap people exist in India who keep an account of money looted by others mother rather than keeping an account of money accumulated/earned by their own mother. Respect Mother India by respecting your own as well as others mother.

    Behave like matured, efficient politicians.
Talk about Development, Policies, Education, Planning, International relation, Mutual co-operation and

It was Sachin Tendulkar’s last test match at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, and Congress vice president and most probable prime ministerial candidate Rahul Gandhi was there to watch it. As soon as the news of Rahul Gandhi’s arrival reach in the stadium, the crowd started chanting “Modi, Modi, Modi, Modi”. A video featuring small glimpse of such chantings is presented above via Youtube.

next time this will happen in rahul’s rally also…

And at that time Mody was busy in the rally trying to find words to criticize Rahul.
This is CULTURE. That shows all the difference between two.
Mody does not know how many balls in an over, for that matter he also does not know how many zeroes in ten million. That's the difference between the TWO.
