Mangalore, Apr 9: In a major fire that caught a house in Arabikana-Kudroli on late Saturday night, it got totally destroyed. Not many details are immediately available.
The cause of fire was not immediately known. Since the area is inhabited predominantly by a minority community, the access to the area appeared to be difficult for the mediapersons.
However, the loss is estimated at several lacs of rupees. The fire-fighting personnel and the public are said to have jointly helped in extinguishing the fire and preventing it from spreading elsewhere.
