Tbilsi (Georgia), Nov 18 (IANS): Georgia Monday made the most of their home advantage by defeating the Netherlands 2-1 in the third and last match day of the Group XI qualification for the UEFA 2014 Under-19 Football Championship.
The two teams were tied 1-1 at halftime, reports Xinhua.
In the day's other match, Wales whitewashed Moldova 6-0.
With three wins, Georgia topped the group qualifiers with a maximum of nine points followed by Wales and the Netherlands.
Winless and goalless Moldova was at the bottom of the four-team round-robin action.
Georgia now advance to the elite round of the qualification.
The grand finale will be held in Hungary in 2014.
