Dubai, Nov 19: Siraj Master; director - finance of Zulekha Hospitals was awarded 'Young Striving Finance Executive', at the 6th Annual MENA CFO Awards by Andre Hattingh, head commercial products, Visa Inc- CEMEA in Dubai at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai on November 17.
The Young Striving Finance Executive at the Annual MENA CFO Awards recognizes ambitious and committed young executive (below the age of 35 years) who has performed exceptionally in his/her role and had a direct impact in developing the finance department.
Siraj, a chartered accountant by profession, expertise’s knowledge in Healthcare business and is more than just a “numbers guy.” He has immersed himself in the operations of the company and has a macro view of the numbers, drivers and pains relating to Sales & Marketing, R&D, Service providers, Vendors, etc.
His ability to set goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and traceable is a trait which helps him to manage the expectations of the company’s stakeholders-employees, investors, board of directors, analysts- as well as direct the financial operations of the company.
On receiving the award, Siraj said, “Receiving this award of “young striving finance executive” will inspire me to achieve greater success and to be the best. As I recollect when I had joined Zulekha Healthcare Group as a Manager after a ten year stint with PWC, the opportunity of being involved from day one in various roles taking up initiatives & helping the group grow internationally was endless. The journey has been phenomenal over the years & climbing the ladder till Director of Finance for the entire Group was a great appreciation for the work I have done with Zulekha.
