April 9: Abu Dhabi Amchigale Samaj members held a Hindustani classical music concert by Kiran Kamath on 7th April,2006, at India Social Center, Abu Dhabi from 6PM to 9PM. The accompanying artists were Vikas Katre on Harmonium, Aashish Kudtadkar on Tabla, Smt Kirti Kamath on Tanpura and Sri Giridhar Nayak on Taal.
Kiran gave an excellent mix of hindustani, natya Sangeeth, marathi abhang, bhajans in Kannada and Konkani. Ajith Kini welcomed the guests and Ramesh Kamath proposed vote of thanks. M.Rao, Patron Amchigale Samaj, Sri Sarvotham Shetty,President Karnataka Sangh and Anil Kumar, Gen Secy, India Social Center offered floral bouquets to Kiran.
Though Kiran Kamath is physically impaired by birth, his hard work, dedication, devotion (Sadahana) determination and the willpower prevailed to overcome the constraints in achieving the pinnacle of success in his musical pursuit. The music lovers who attended the concert gave Sri Kiran and his accompanying artists a standing ovation for their memorable performance.
