Mangalore, Nov 20: Milagres PU College held its annual sports day on November 19. The event was held between 9 am to 5 pm.
The chief guest was received and escorted to the venue by the NCC cadets and the primary school band set with a royal salute.
The day’s programme started with a prayer followed by a welcome. The event was presided by the correspondent, Fr Valerian D’Souza along with the principal of the PU College John Pais, vice principal Avith Barboza and the headmistress Agnes Colaco.
The president received the grand salute from themarch past groups and the various houses.
The set of events held were tracks, jumps, throws and short put. Milagres Institution has a pool of talented students who are winners in every field, and many of them are National Level Athletes.
