New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS): A misty, nippy morning gave way to a sunny and pleasant day in the national capital Wednesday, with the maximum temperature settling at 28.1 degrees, average for this time of year.
Similar weather is predicted for Thursday, the Met office said.
"There will be light fog in the morning tomorrow (Thursday) and the afternoon will be sunny," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 28 and 11 degrees Celsius Thursday.
Shallow fog enveloped the capital early Wednesday, and the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 10.4 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature Tuesday was a notch below average at 26.9 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperature settled at 11.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
