Bantwal, Apr 11: A young woman Shyamala from Kudriya of Kolnad near Vittal here has gone missing Tuesday April 4.

Shyamala (21), daughter of Timmappa Shetty of Kudriya had gone to the nearby beedi branch on Tuesday April 4.  However, she never returned.  Though the family tried to locate her, they did not succeed.

It is suspected that she might have eloped with one Chandrahas Poojary with whom she was in love with for the last one year.  Chandrahas is the son of Narayan Poojary of Salettur.

However, Shyamala's parents were against their marriage.  Accordingly, it is suspected that both of them might have eloped.

Now a complaint has been filed with the Vittal police in this regard.
