Mangalore, Apr 11: A Bajrang Dal activist was stabbed by two activists of Shri Ram Sene at Hampankatta here in the later hours of Monday April 10 night.

The injured has been identified as Shivprasad, a resident of Kavoor.  He is said to have reportedly been stabbed by notorious rowdy Shabari and Gopal who have identified themselves with newly found Hindu organization Shri Ram Sene.

It is said that Shri Ram Sene activists were forcing Bajrang Dal leader Mohan Attavar to join them.  But he had refused it.  But when the force increased, he tipped off the Anti Rowdy Squad about this.  When the Shri Ram Sene activists came to know about it, they thought of threatening Mohan by force.

Accordingly, they surrounded Mohan on Monday night when he was taking out the banners which were put during the Ram Navami programme.  When Shivprasad objected them, they left Mohan and assaulted Shivprasad.

A complaint has now been filed against Shabari and Shivprasad in the Bunder police station in this regard.
