Moodbidri, Apr 12: The Chandranatha Swami Pratisthana Mahotsava, a cultural and religious function was held at Valpady Aliyur near Moodbidri. Swati Shri Charukirti Bhattaraka Swamiji of the Jain Math, Moodbidri blessed the occasion.

MLA Abhayachandra Jain, Muniraj Renjala, Andaru Gunapa, Apex Bank chairman M N Rajendra Kumar, former ZP member Jagadeesh Adhikari, former Shirtad mandal panchayat pradhan Sampat Samrajya and others were on the dais and witnessed the function.

A new cashew export firm 'Medhini Cashew Exports' was inaugurated by Karnataka Bank chairman Ananthakrishna at Belvai, Kesarugadde.

Kateel temple's chief priest Laxminarayana Asranna blessed the occasion. Former minister Amaranath Shetty was the chief guest on the occasion. Dhanalaxmi Group of companies managing director Shripati Bhat, Harikrishna Punaroor and Bhuvanabhiram Udupa were guests of honour.

Medhini Cashew Exports proprietor Muralidhar Bhat and others were present on the occasion.
