Mangalore, Apr 13: It seems nothing and no can replace suicide as the best problem solver. Most of the persons who are up against problems find solution to their problems through suicide.
This was once again proved very true by one PUC student of Marakada who ended his life after coming to know that he had failed in his annual examinations for the second successive time.
Swaroop Shetty (17) had failed in his first year PUC exams last year. So he had appeared for the exams this year too. Since result was to be declared on Monday April 10, he had gone to the college.
However, he did not return home thereafter. At first the parents thought that he might have gone to one of his friends' house. But when he did not come or give a call to home, his father went to the college on Wednesday April 12 since, April 11 was a public holiday.
There he came to know that his son had failed once again. Suspecting some link between his son going missing and the result of the examinations, the parents started searching for their son. Finally they found him dead in a nearby pond.
The autopsy reports confirmed that Swaroop had ended his life on Monday itself. Now the Kavoor police have registered a case in this regard.
