Coca Cola elevates Atul Singh as Group President, Asia


New Delhi, Nov 26 (IANS): The Coca Cola company has elevated Atul Singh, deputy group president, Pacific, as group president, Asia, effective from Jan 1, 2014. a statement said here Tuesday.

For Coca Cola business, Asia comprises Greater China and Korea business unit (BU), India and Southwest Asia BU (INSWA) and Association of Southeast Asian Nations BU (ASEAN).

Venkatesh Kini, currently deputy BU president, India & South West Asia (INSWA), will be appointed BU president, INSWA.

As part of the company's efforts to capture the existing and emerging growth potential in the Pacific geography, it renamed the Pacific Group as Asia Pacific.

These changes would not impact the organisational structure at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, the company owned bottling operation in India, the statement added.
