Udupi, Apr 16: The Udupi district hospital will get a new outpatient block which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore. This was informed by minister for medical education V S Acharya.
On his visit to Udupi on Saturday, April 15, Acharya said that the project will be taken up by the government and KMC Manipal. The OPD block would include a dental block to improve the services of the hospital. Two halls for training the students of KMC will also be built in the new OPD block.
He further informed that the Blood Bank of the hospital will also be upgraded with the help of KMC Manipal.
