Kolkata, Nov 30 (IANS): A gamut of artworks spanning paintings, collages, sculptures and hand-crafted gift products by over 50 eminent artists are drawing visitors at an art carnival here.
The ongoing Art Utsav showcases paintings by noted artists like Samir Aich, Jogen Chowdhury, Partha Pratim Deb and Wasim Kapoor besides works of upcoming artists.
The surfaces and media used incorporate paper, water colours, canvas, and pastels and techniques include paper quilling, paper collage, water colour, acrylic on canvas, mixed media on board, Madhubani art etc.
Various paper products are also up for sale at the exhibition in the Mirage Art Gallery here. The event concludes Dec 15.
