New Jersey, Dec 2: Over 350 Mangalorean Catholics from the United States East coast states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut will get together to celebrate Christmas on Saturday December 21at Jewel of India/Clarion Inn Grand Ballroom, 999 US Route 1, North Brunswick, New Jersey 08902,USA. This event will be hosted by the Mangalorean Catholic Association of the East Coast of USA.
MCA-EC board have roped in one of the best live band 'PRISM' headed by DJ Brian that will rock the Christmas Gala evening . This 10 member band is renowned to bring everyone to their feet to rock the dance floor.
MCA-EC has few Vados ( group of Managlorean families living in close proximity ) Kursa Vado-NY, Moriyee Vado-NJ, Fatima Vado-NJ, Bhagevonth Kutam Vado-PA and Long Island Vado-NY . These Vados carry out several regional activities of the association for the youth, kids and local get togethers.
These Vadyaaagars( people who make up the vado) will sing Christmas Carols at the Christmas Gala. There will be a surprise in store for children. They will get an opportunity to march & click pictures with Santaclaus.There will be spot prizes, delicious food and cash bar.
Fun for all age groups. MCA-EC will launch its first Souvenir booklet showcasing all the sponsors and well wishers of this association. Several Mangaloreans and Goans have already registered for this event .MCA-EC welcomes many more to come and join in this celebration.
