Mangalore, Dec 3: A youth festival has been organised by a team of individuals under the leadership of Yatish Baikampady, which will be held here on December 13 and December 14 at the Panambur beach.

Speaking to the media at the press club on Tuesday December 3, Yathish announced a variety of competitions which will be held across the two day fest.

"This youth festival at the beach which will be a entertainment package where people can dance, listen to music, sing, laugh and play as well as compete at the same time and there will be no age limit," he said.

"The main aim is to attract the youth to get togther through the various contests that have been organized," he added.

On December 13 the following competitions will be held inauguration, group dance competition (any style), group singing competition (any style), sand sculpture, kite show, beat boxing, water sports, food festival, rock band - closing act, solo singing, live photography and many more.

On December 14 a food fest will be held, a musical night has been organised with Dj Kiran Kamath, Dj Logan and Dj Aditi Alva.

Rajesh Dhanvi co-ordinator; Hriday Pai and Sanjana students of St Aloysius Pre University College and Narasimha Shenoy of Canara Pre University College and Harish Mangalore press club president were also present at the press meet.
