Udupi, Apr 20: Pundalika Marathe, a senior teacher, journalist and social worker was honoured with the prestigious Aryabhata Award-2005 here. Former governor of Bihar Rama Jois at a programme held recently presented the award, conferred by the Aryabhata Cultural Institute, Bangalore.

Among those present were Minister for Science and Technology, journalist Vishweshwara Bhat and founder-secretary of the Aryabhata Institute, H L S Rao.
