Bangalore, Apr 21: Stamps and Bond papers will be sold at all branches of State Bank of India, State Bank of Mysore and State Bank of Hyderabad from May 1, 2006.
The stationery is being sold at present only in some branches of SBI, SBM and SBH.
Revenue Minister Jagadish Shettar told the media that he had discussed the issue of stamp papers and Bond papers with officials of the three banks in the backdrop of hardship.
The sale of stamps and bond papers will be arranged in all branches of the three banks in stages beginning from May 1, 2006, the Minister announced.
