Porto beat Braga to return to the top


Lisbon, Dec 8 (IANS): FC Porto's Jackson Martinez scored twice at the Dragao Stadium here to help his team beat Braga 2-0 in the 12th round of the Portuguese football league.

Jackson Martinez scored in the 48th minute after the ball deflected off Braga striker Nuno Coelho and went into Eduardo's right corner Saturday, reports Xinhua.

The Colombian centre-forward scored again in the 80th minute with a powerful header following a cross by Varela.

Porto return to the top of the league table with 28 points, thanks to a better goal difference than Benfica.
