Mangalore, Dec 9: "My relationship with Ammunje dates back to 1986. He was the brain behind the 'Karavali Utsava' which attracted several people through his art. His richness was in his art but economically he was not successful. Art and money do not go hand in hand. This what we can learn from Jagadish Ammunje. Although he left this world, his work, relation with people will be eternal. The concept of Tulugramma was also designed by him," said JR Lobo.
