Mangalore, Apr 23: A diesel carrying tanker which left the Reliance Petroleum Terminal in New Mangalore Port has been reported missing. The tanker with diesel worth Rs 6, 81,040 left to Bangalore and has been reported missing thereafter.
It is suspected that the driver and cleaner had resorted to this method to sell off the diesel and obtain money. The tanker belonged to Ammi Raja and the driver was designated to reach the diesel to a Reliance Petrol Bunk in Yashwantpur, Bangalore.
A case has been registered against the driver Razak of Kerala and cleaner Suresh Shetty hails from Arehalli, Hassan at Panambur police station.
