Udupi, Apr 25: The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) inaugurated its VIII branch here on Monday, April 24.

The new branch was inaugurated by chairman and managing director of IDBI V P Shetty.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that focus on rural areas would be increased in the future days. The bank which awaits licenses for new branches has achieved a total business of Rs 78,518 crore with net profit of Rs 561 crores.
