Mangalore Apr 25:  A three-day medical exhibition will be organised on the occasion of Founder’s Day celebration of K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) here on April 25. The free medical camp will be held from Wednesday April 26 to Friday April 28.

The exhibition, to be held in college auditorium premises, will be inaugurated by Dakshina Kannada superintendent of police B Dayananda on Wednesday at 9.30 am.

The purpose of the exhibition is to spread awareness among the public, including school children, parents and teachers about human anatomy, physiological and health related issues like diabetes, hypertension, AIDS and dental care, said KSHEMA dean Shantaram Shetty while addressing reporters here.

The college will conduct free medical check-ups and if anyone is found to suffer from a disease, the patient will be admitted in the hospital free of charge for treatment.

Films, slide shows, posters and models will be part of the exhibition. There will also be a best baby competition on Thursday April 27 wherein two best babies in categories of less than 1 year, 1 to 3 years and 3 to 5 years will be awarded.
