Bantwal, Apr 27:  The Christian organizations of the taluk have demanded the administration for the arrest of accused in the Sunil Patrao assault case.

Sunil Patrao, son of the late Sylvia Patrao of kambalbettu near Dharmangar of Vittal had been assaulted by his neighbours Batyappa Rai and his son Madhu on Sunday April 16 night.  Batyappa's son-in-law Dinesh too was with them when they assaulted Sunil.  Several household things too were damaged by them on the same day.

Though a complaint was filed in the Vittal police station about the incident, the police have not yet taken any action against the accused so far.  Enraged by this, the taluk Christian organizations have appealed the police to take suitable action at the earliest.  They have also demanded police to give protection to Sunil Patrao.

The organizations have also said that they would take to streets if the police fail in taking suitable action within the stipulated period.
