Bantwal, Apr 27: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Bantwal- Modankap unit has organized "Yuva Sanz-2006", a cultural programme on Saturday April 29 evening. The programme will be held in the Infant Jesus Church, Bantwal premises.
This was annouced in a press conference by programme convener Avin D'Souza at Mangalore Press Club on Thursday April 27 morning.
The programme will begin with the Holy Eucharistic celebration at 4.30 pm on Saturday. The stage programme will begin at 6 pm which will be presided over by Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore. U C Paulose, director of Seon Ashram, Gandibagilu near Beltangady, Ivan D'Souza, vice president of Dakshina Kannada Congress Committee, Fr Elias D'Souza, director ICYM, Mangalore diocese, Fr Charles Saldanha, parish priest, Bantwal Church, Richard Monterio, vice president, Bantwal Church and John Gomes, animator, ICYM, Bantwal will be the chief guests of the programme.
Fr Sunil Kumar D'Souza, assistant parish priest of Bantwal Church, Praveen Jossy Pinto, president, ICYM Bantwal and Stanley Bantwal were also present at the press conference.
Cultural programmes will be held after the stage programme. Konkani skit "Keppyachin Khestavan’ will be staged by the youth on the same occasion. Later up and coming singers and musicians artiste will present a Konkani music evening. The programme has specially been organized to bring to light the rural and hidden talents.
