Mangalore, Apr 28: The District Crime Investigation Bureau (DCIB) nabbed two chain snatchers in the city on Wednesday, April 26. Jayakar Amin (23) and Raghavendra Nagvekar (25) both of Mangalore were arrested at Hampankatte.

Two gold chains were recovered from the duo and assets worth Rs 24,400 were also seized.

It is also said that the accused were drug addicts and took to crime to obtain money for drugs. They were arrested when they were trying to pawn the gold at Hampankatte.
