Kuwait, May 2: Kuwait Kannada Koota, a premier Kannada organization in Kuwait, will start its year long Celebration of 50 glorious years of Karnataka with an Inaugural event of Inter-School competitions in Quiz, Folk dance and Patriotic singing on Friday the 12th May, 2006 at Indian Community School, Kheitan.
Renowned quiz master Prakash Subba Rao is specially flown in from Bangalore to conduct this quiz competition. The event is open to all KKK members and students of competing Schools. The event is being sponsored by M/s Abdul Hadi Al-Mailem Trading co. WLL for Patriotic song and Folk dance competitions while Quiz competition is sponsored by M/s Wadi Sakeef Trading Co.
