Five-year-old raped by security guard

New Delhi, Dec 30 (IANS): A five-year-old girl was raped by a security guard who took her to a secluded place on the pretext of finding a nice place to play, police said Monday. The man has been arrested.

The crime occurred at Model Town in north Delhi around 11 a.m. Sunday.

The victim, who doctors say is now out of danger, had informed her parents about the incident.

Rakesh Kumar, a security guard, was arrested Sunday evening on the basis of the girl's description of the man who assaulted her.
