Mangalore, May 7: Claud’s 38th musical nite will go down the books of Konkani music for having introduced and brought to Mangalore Nephie Rod, a sensational voice and a household name in Mumbai and Goa.
Nephie, in her maiden performance before the Mangaloreans stole their hearts with her voice and performance.
At Don Bosco hall on Sunday Claud stringed together his songs which have a distinct identity in Konkani music world. The three and half hour music feast had top mesmerizing vocalists including the charming Mangalore's voices Anita Samson, Rony Crasta, Ransom Saldanha, Galdin D'Souza, Ester and Melissa.
Top names in the musical world - Pappan-Joswin provided music to she show, which had attractive dances from city’s Thunder Guys troupe.
Much praise was received to the stage decoration, which was the work of Alwyn Bajal
Claud showed his respect to his mentor Wilfy Rebimbus at the musical nite and also his well-wisher advocate Ivan D’Souza.
The MeMoRi troupe of comedians did it again by tickling the audience with their jokes.
The musical show was organised by 'Karavali Konkans' Mangalore. Leslie Rego compered the 38th Claud nite.
