Kuwait, May 10: Kuwait Kannada Koota has cordially invited all Kannadigas to attend the inauguration of Swarna Mahotsava Celebrations (Golden Jubilee) of Karnataka state on Friday May 12, 2006.

The venue is Indian Community School, Khaitan.

Date- May 12, 2006 at 6-30 pm

Ambassador of India to Kuwait M Ganapathi will be the chief guest of the inauguration Ceremony.

To commemmorate the occasion, interschool competitions in Quiz, Folk dance and Patriotic song singing.

The Schedule of the programe is as follows:

1) Interschool Quiz Finals- 3-00 pm to 4-00 pm

A highlight of this Quiz is that Prakash Subbarao of banglorequizclub.com will be the quiz master and the topic of the quiz will be India with up to 20% questions pertaining to Karnataka state. There will be lot of opportunities for the audience to answer questions.

2) Interschool Patriotic song Competition 4-00 pm to 5-00 pm
 
3) Interschool Folk Dance Competition--- 5-00 pm to 6-00 pm

4) Between 6-00 pm to 6-30 pm – a 15-minute tableau of folk dances of Karnataka state will be staged by KKK members

5) Inauguration Ceremony and Prize distribution 6-30 pm to 7-30 pm

6) Dinner -7-45 pm
