Mapusa, May 12: Goa United Sports Academy, Calangute, drubbed Anjuna Gymkhana 5-1 in the GFA’s U-14 league at Duler grounds, here.
Calangute scored twice in the first session, both goals coming through Myron Fernandes, who netted in the 10th minute off Denzil’s cross and then with a fine solo effort.
Calangute keeper Floyd brought off an excellent diving save off Pandhari Chopdekar’s free-kick before the breather.
Mario Lobo scored the third goal for Calangute in the very 3rd minute on resumption. Alesh Sawant got hold of Vallacio’s cross from the right and slotted the ball past the rival keeper to score for Anjuna.
Towards the closing stages, Calangute pumped in two more goals through Mario Lobo and Kyle Ferrao.
