Udupi, May 12: "The Institute of Computer Accountants" (ICA), a training centre of computerized accounts and taxation will open its branch in the city on Friday May 12. The office will be situated at Swarna Arcade here.
This was announced in a press conference here by regional head of ICA Pradeep Bardiya.
The inauguration of ICA will be held at Hotel Kidiyoor at 12 pm on Friday. Noted Chartered Accountant (CA) Rajaram Shetty, Vishwanath Pai, head of the computer science department of MGM College here would be the chief guests on the occasion.
ICA is a unit of Kolkatta based ICA Infotech Pvt Ltd. ICA has its branches spread across the country. More than 30,000 students have been trained in computer accounts and taxation in 225 training centres in the past. Among them already 25,000 have been given job placement, said ICA Udupi director Sridhar Kinnimulki.
