Mysore, May 12: The 'Glory of Mahamasthakabhisheka' screensaver comprising breathtaking images of Bahubali during the Mahamasthakabhisheka held during February in Srikshetra Shravanabelagola was released recently.
Thanks to www.jainheritagecentres.com, the devotees who were not able to capture the images of Bahubali can now just log on to www.mahamasthakabhisheka.com .
H.P. Nitin, a Mysorean, who is the Director of www.jainheritagecentres.com, has stated in a press release that the website has been uploaded with 67 pictures in 24 slides, signifying the 24 Jain Thirthankaras.
The pictures include that of the abhisheka, illumination of Vindyagiri and the President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam inaugurating a ritual, he said and added now, one can download these pictures and use them as screen savers.
The pictures were uploaded on April 30, Akshaya Thrithiya Day, he said adding that since then more than 1000 people have downloaded the pictures from the website.
This initiative follows the launching of online Mahamasthakabhisheka in June 2005 to popularise the great event across the globe.
