Puttur, May 14: The Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) Puttur has warned traders involved in illegal transaction of business outside the APMC yard. Their applications for renewal of licenses will be rejected as per the High Court interim order of a deadline to carry on the normal trade. Erring traders will be taken to task.
APMC has made its stand clear on the HC interim order issued a couple of days back, allowing the areca traders to continue their normal trade for further four weeks.
APMC has rejected the licenses of 37 traders who have not shifted trade to APMC yard. About 14 traders out of 37 received the interim order from HC to carry on normal trade.
Those traders who have been transacting business without the trade license will be restrained of their trade legally.
