Mangalore, May 14: Konkani Writers Forum, Karnataka and Samanvaya Mangalore honoured Victor Rodrigues Angelore on being given the Daiji Dubai Literary Award.
At a programme organized at the CODP Hall here on Sunday, Fr Dominic Vas provincial, Carmelite (Karnataka-Goa zone) honoured Victor Rodrigues.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest and Rajyotsava award winner Shirtady William Pinto said that appreciated the simplicity of Victor and the richness of his writings. “Writers like Victor,” he said, “will be respected not for their wealth but for what they gave to the society.” Victor wrote to educate the rural masses on health related issues, he added
