Mangalore, May 15: 'Nudi Singara,' a book on various words used in Daivaradhane written by Ganesh Amin Sankamar, was released here on Sunday May 14.
Speaking on the occasion, Hampi Kannada University vice-chancellor Vivek Rai said that Daivaradhane is an alternative space in this physical world and throws light on the human power to go beyond physical limitations and reach spirituals heights.
He further said that the words used in Daivaradhane abound with symbolic meanings. The language used by rural people is full of metaphors and reflects their understanding of the intricacies of the language.
Daivaradhane practitioners Dayananda Kathelsar, Sindhu and Bhaskar Bangera were felicitated on the occasion.
Among those present were MLA Abhayachandra Jain, Tulu Sahitya Academy president M K Seetaram Kulal and Alva's Education Institution chairman Dr M Mohan Alva.
