Moodbidri, May 16: Udayavani Kannada daily's editor N Gururaj released 'Premayana', a collection of write-ups by journalist V K Ashraf Valpady, at a function here.
The book contains a series of write-ups published in a column of the same name in 'Pingara' Kannada weekly, edited and published by Raymond D'Cunha Taccode. They are light-hearted write-ups, based on the affairs of the heart. It is a very popular column, esp. with the younger readers.
Chief guest N Gururaj was honoured by the organizers for his having bagged the state Media Academy award recently.
Journalist Dhananjaya Moodbidri also was felicitated for his having won the Hoogar state-level award recently.
Among others, former zilla parishat member K P Jagadeesh Adhikari was also present on the dais.
