Mangalore, May 18: The Mangalore University has convened the first meeting of its alumni on Sunday May 21 morning.
The meet will begin at 10 am at Yakshagana Kalamandira, Mangalore University Campus, Mangalagangotri.
All those who have obtained any Post Graduation degree or M.Phil/Ph.D/D.Litt or D.Sc from Mangalagangotri Campus are invited attend the "First Meet of Mangala Alumni Association (MAA).
Also the students who have obtained PG and said degree from 1968 onwards when Mangalagangotri was the PG centre of Mysore University and those who have obtained degree from Madikeri based PG centre of Mangalore University too are invited to participate in the meeting.
Karnataka Bank chairman Anantkrishna will be the chief guest on the occasion while vice-chancellor Prof K M Kaveriappa will preside, said Prof P S Yedapadittaya, convener of the meeting.
